Starry Night has been my favorite painting ever since I can remember. As an Art History major there is nothing better than having my favorite piece permanently inked into my skin. Now I have Van Gogh with me everywhere I go.
The tattoo was done by Tom Dutton at Fuzion Ink in Norfolk, Virginia.
This is my favorite tattoo, it is a painting by Charles Gilbert, titled All is Vanity. I love this era of art, and how it is an illusion, from afar it looks like a skull and close up it is a women in a mirror. It was done at the Jesters Court, Southside in Pittsburgh, by Michael Patrick. He’s a great guy and artist, I can not say enough great things about him and his work.
